At Line Eyes, we understand that fertility and pregnancy testing is a deeply personal journey. We have designed our architecture to prioritize your privacy by default.
1. Local-First Processing (The "Enhance" Tools)
When you use our Image Enhancement tools, filters, or calculators, your data does not leave your device.
- Client-Side Technology: We use HTML5 Canvas and Web Workers to process images directly in your web browser. No images are uploaded to our servers for processing.
- Local Storage: Your history, settings, and saved images are stored in your browser's "Local Storage" and "IndexedDB". If you clear your browser cache, this data is removed.
2. Community Vote Feature
The "Community Vote" feature is the only part of our app that transmits images to a server. If you choose to upload an image for feedback:
- Anonymity: We do not require user accounts. Your upload is not linked to an email, name, or IP address log.
- Metadata Stripping: Before your image is saved, our system automatically strips all EXIF metadata (which can include GPS location, device type, and time taken) to protect your identity.
- Automatic Deletion: To ensure data hygiene and privacy, all community uploads are automatically permanently deleted from our servers after 48 hours.
3. Third-Party Services
- Amazon Associates: Our Shop page contains affiliate links. If you click a link and make a purchase, Amazon may place a cookie on your device to track the referral. We do not see your personal purchase history.
- Google Fonts & CDNs: We use standard content delivery networks to load fonts and icons to make the app run faster.

Line Eyes is NOT a medical device. The tools provided (including image enhancement, beta calculators, and gender predictors) are for informational, educational, and entertainment purposes only.
- Do not use this app to diagnose a pregnancy or medical condition.
- Image enhancement can sometimes create artifacts or "noise" that look like lines but are not. Always confirm results with a medical professional.
2. User Conduct
By using the Community Vote feature, you agree not to upload content that is illegal, offensive, or unrelated to the purpose of fertility tracking. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.
3. "As Is" Warranty
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions made based on the output of our calculators or image tools.
